Pros & Cons
Pros
Meridian 541 preamp and a 35 wpc nobis cantabile hybrid tube amp. This preamp is awesome, larger soundstage and more detail than the fosi. It boosts the bass frequencies from a moving magnet phono cartridge per riaa specifications.
Cons
The quality was astoundingly amateur with several cold soldiered joints. A cold soldered joint is a connection that is incomplete and introduces distortion.
Highlights
Quality
The unit is solid and weighty, with a nice feel to the metal volume knob.
Tube sockets seem solid, although i wouldn’t roll the tubes daily for years and years not expect trouble.
The other thing is change the tubes out to a good set of 12ax7 tubes, the 6n2 tubes that it comes with are garbage.
If your power is not correct you will have problems, and nothing you will do on the device will fix the problem (minimize it at best).
Price
I highly recommend this, especially for the cost.
I changed the tubes to tung sol 12ax7's ($70 for three matched on amazon), and what already sounded good now sounds great!
For the price it's proven to be a solid choice.
So be prepared to put a $100 or so worth of new driver tubes in this unit if you want a particular sound.
Shipping
So anyway, once this thing arrived, i debated for a few days as to return the unit or to give it a try, so it is now in my livi... Read More
Packaging/appearance
I also put the v1 grounding wire inside the case so it looks nice and neat.
The packaging it came in was no frills but got the unit from china in perfect condition.
The condition was as new no cosmetic defects on the amp and all parts were included, although the packaging was so so, the tube... Read More
Competitiveness
This preamp is awesome, larger soundstage and more detail than the fosi.
3x nos mullards, soviet rectifier, and 4x mundorf evo silver/gold/oils later.
The ms-23b also uses a transistor based gain circuit as opposed to the t11's tube based gain.
In summary for a bit over $200 the t11 is at par with other phonos i've listened to but for less than half the price.

There was indeed a hum from the t11 but i did my research and found out a person should use the metal shielding tube cover for the far left tube and attach a small grounding wire from it to the ground plug on the front of the unit
