I am currently running 24vdc 4 amp on one and 30vdc 6amp on another and the 30 vdc sounds slightly better
You could just run a switch but i dont want to run the chance of forgetting
I also use a computer fan to keep it cool but that is beacuse i run this thing at full volume for hours on end
