Pros & Cons
Pros
Noco genius 1 is a great charger especially with the force charge feature. My generator and atv require slow charge at 1amp so it is perfect. However, i should've gotten the 10 amp, as that is more suitable for cars.
Cons
Noco junk is cheap and plentiful in canada, and people say well how bad can it be. Not as advertised. It times out after 120 hrs and is programmed to say “bad battery”.
Voltmeter says 12v but cant even crank the engine. Kept charging for 72 hours, car battery is still completely empty. Tech support says this unit is not intended for automotive use and is only for small 30 amp hr.
