Right in the instruction manual that comes with the battery it states that the battery management system built into the unit will not allow charging below 10 celsius

So this would eliminate its use in snowmobiles unless your battery is in a spot where engine temps would heat up the lithium cells above that point or if your sled a relic and has almost zero load for accessories

You do not need a genius charger but do need to pay attention to the amperage limits of the battery you buy

The group 20 battery for example has a 21 amp limit

So it’s good for most chargers

However the smaller batteries have significantly lower limits so don’t put 20 amps of charge into it
