Pros & Cons
Pros
Every little detail to reduce noise has been thought of, from anti-vibration considerations to decibel output. They're quieter, and i'm using 3 watts total to cool, versus the stock fans the graphics card had on that use 15 watts and make way more noi... Read More
Bought a couple of these in order to replace the proprietary case fan and cpu cooler. The only issue i had is the proprietary motherboard of my dell did not accept the studs needed for the installation.
Big thumbs up. The hype is real. The color tone grows on you with time.
Cons
Noctua gets flak for their color choices. This is hugely disappointing coming from a company known for their quality. I really feel bad for the guy that uses this to cool a cpu.
Highlights
Quality
This is a quality fan, very quiet and seems to be of a great quality.
The fan worked great for this application and of course the build quality is excellent.
This is my first time buying a quality 92mm fan and i am shocked how quiet this fan is.
After deleting all my unnecessary windows 11 background apps the fan noise continued.
Price
For the price, this is a great and easy upgrade.
This noctua fan is worth every penny.
Don't buy a cheap $10 or less weed whacker sounding fan, spend more and buy this one because you only hear air moving above 60%... Read More
Well worth the price which isn’t horrible anyway.
Shipping
Dell shipped the worst, loudest stock fan in my gaming xps.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging, the build quality, the included spare parts, the ease of installation, and the cooling effectiveness are all top notch.
This noctua company's product, connectors, multiple cables, and packaging are all top rated.
Even on a small fan like this, the packaging felt premium, and extra cables were included.
Competitiveness
The fans are super quiet and the quality is definitely superior to the factory dell fans.
The noctua fan is incompatiable with dell, then it will give error after the switch.
I know there are other good fan companies out there, but i've become a snob about using noctua for cooling my builds.
Compared to the less than 20cfm of the sickleflow, though, both are much better.
