Pros & Cons
Pros
This cooler is a beast but worth every pennie. And am beyond impressed.
Noctua nh-d15s is an excellent choice for intel's rocket lake cpus. Idle temps is solid at 30 deg, a whole 10 deg difference is crazy. Noctua are the best.
It has nothing flashy about it and it's quiet. This cooler is very close to it (within 2 degrees) and is much quieter, especially at idle.
The case is a corsair 4000d airflow. This is a high quality cooler, but its size makes it tough to squeeze into mid tower cases.
Cooler works very well cooling my 5900x which tends to run on the warm side. Idle temps are between 37-41c and reaches 70c max on cinebench r23 multi core stress test. Keeps my temps low about 57 - 60 at high loads if that.
Cons
Concerning, it's not what i paid for.
Highlights
Quality
The build quality, fit, and finish are simply top notch!
Fit perfect with all full ram slots, reduce the temp very good, the best air cooler so far
Threw this in my wife's msi aegis rs prebuilt after the preinstalled 120mm water cooler decided to fail.
Air still blowing from right to left of the case and not from down to bottom like some setup i saw.
Price
Extremely worth it's price, it is a big product though so make sure it will fit your case first.
(pun intended) would highly recommend the extra cost, just make sure your case has enough space to fit this behemoth!
It is much larger and heavier than i expected it to be, but that's the price you pay for such an effective air cooler.
For the price, you are really getting a quality cooler.
Packaging/appearance
Easy to install and organized packaging that oozes quality.
Lga1700 hardware was in the box already.
Very professional packaging best in the business that's for sure.
Competitiveness
It can be a bit too tall for some cases, but it fits perfectly in a nzxt h510 case and most likely any other from that brand.
So you might not need to buy the bracket separately for lga 1700 compatibility.
The cooler itself is very quiet, i tried lots of other coolers that were louder and nearly the same price that weren't even clo... Read More
The gap after installed between the n15s cpu heatsink and my 3080 is less than 1cm, and you know how the monster gpu burn when play games.

However i decided to just clip it to the bottom of the radiator and leave the top unclipped with the fan slightly tilted
