Noctua nh-u12a chromax. The best fans. Like all noctua products, the quality is exceptional. No fuss, no drama.
Does a great job cooling an r5 3600 idling in high 30s to low 40s. I5-12600k idles at around 31c and reaches a max of 78c running cinebench r23. Fantastic thermals at around 28c idle and 60c load after undervolting by 140mv.
It is similar in size and performs well but not good enough for 12700k imo. Running on a 12600k cpu, 1. Runs cooler as well. Ram clearance is another plus over its bigger brother.
For a i8700k with liquid metal mod, the nh-u12a certainly works its magic. Looks great, works great, and does the job at keeping my cpu temps under control. Comes with two flagship nf-a12x25 fans that cost $44 each.
Noctua fits in a small matx case (inwin 301) where airflow is poor. Noctua a réussi à descendre de 15-20 degré les température du processeur. Je vous le recommande. Vérifier que votre case à moins 160mm de profondeur.

Price
Definitely paid a premium for black but i am extremely pleased with this cooler.
I understand things happen, but when i spend almost 200 dollars on a cpu cooler, i expect it to be mint.
It is expensive but if you see the value in a black cooler.
Although, the price is a bit high i would still recommend it to anyone looking for a none liquid cooling solution.

Arrived the next day, and i was up and running.
Packaging/appearance
The product arrived in perfect condition and is very visually appealing.
I guess the packaging had no effect to stop the damage.
Competitiveness
Despite the price, these temps rival that of the d15 with better ram and case compatibility.
While the d15s performs slightly better than the u12a, this cooler wins for it's compact size and ability to cool just as good at the d15s.
