Pros & Cons
Pros
The cooling is top-notch. The only time the temp goes over 70 is if the room is very hot or for the second that it takes for the fan to start up (after which it goes to 60-65 and stays there) on the asus pro art z690 with g.
It's very quiet. The fans are solid and spin sooo easy it's great. Much less noise than the oem amd 3600x cooling solution.
Noctua nh-u12a is big, it’s beastly and it clears z390 ram slots. Smaller than d15, fits in to many cases.
Cons
The overall cooling promise made by the company is inaccurate. As far as cooling goes, i have yet to notice much of a difference. The usual absurd canadian amazon.

Competitiveness
Hard to find, one heck of a noctua premium but it's beautiful.
I returned the bigger 140mm coz couldn't reach gpu, but this one is perfect.
Looking for low to no noise and an awesome cooler, get a noctua cooler.
Turns out the lga1700 runs really hot and i needed to get something proper, which is challenging for an matx profile.
