Price

Ultimately, $100 is too much to spend on a desk fan, but at the end of the day it's a noctua.

It does come at a price premium, however if you take into account longevity, it may be worth it to some.

The price is hard to justify in a normal application but for a use case like this i have no complaints and would buy one again.

Competitiveness

It can't be compared with other desk fans in this regard.

At max speed it's moving way more air than any cheap fans i've had in the past and is significantly quieter.
