Pros & Cons
Pros
Fan plugs straight into the psu. Much quieter than stock case fan. Seems to get more airflow too.
Work well, decent price, nothing more to say. Very good materials and construction. Happy with the purchase.
Using this (nf-2s12b redux grey) as a primary exhaust for my computer. Strix, 32gb 4000mhz cl16 and a seasonic 1000w plat, inside a lian li lancoool2. Installed into nzxt h500 as exhaust in the back.
Cons
Had 1 break after just 8 months. Last month had 1 break.
Highlights
Quality
A purpose-built case fan with noctua quality (good bearings).
Couldn't really ask for a better product.
My case fans were originals that came with the case.
However, the fans that came with the computer case are not bad either -- difficult to compare.
Price
Work well, decent price, nothing more to say.
Packaging/appearance
Packaging and accessories are much more minimal than the beige-and-brown fans, but that’s the compromise with the redux line i guess.
Competitiveness
Installed into nzxt h500 as exhaust in the back.
I have had this one for a year and one that came with my d15s for two years.
3080 strix, 32gb 4000mhz cl16 and a seasonic 1000w plat, inside a lian li lancoool2.
2$ more expansive than on amazon usa (after conversion)2.
