Unit has good gain and works to bring in those weak signal with good low noise performance.
The amp has a nice bright white led to show you it’s powered and in the power off setting, the rf signal is cut off completely.
Then by the time it gets down the cable, you still have a high quality signal!
Price
Easy to install but the value is questionable since there are many other options for a lot less money.

You can buy other amps but many times they are just an unmounted board with no enclosure.

In my current configuration the sdr dongle is plugged into my usb power hub and now the amp sits on top

I don’t really like the look of this in terms of added stress to my sma connections so i will most likely add a usb extension so the assembly can lay flat and not place added stress on my equipment making it no doubt break and fail prematurely
