They are a little larger than advertised had a hard time fitting them in there filter openings had to use a rubber mallet to pound them in

I suspected however that the other brand restricted air flow more than the name brands and that is not good

Some other 14 x 30 filters from other brands just seemed a tad loose and when the air or heater kicked on you could hear the filter buckle and suck in these do not

The only draw back about this product is that it does not come with the individual seal pack

The merv 12 version lasts no more that two weeks before its so clogged that the filter makes a crackling sound every time the blower turns on or off

Thats because it plugs up so quickly that the blower is bowing the filter up trying to draw air
