Pros

They are durable and no complaints. I believe indoor air quality to be of extreme importance. I have a new thermostat control that monitors air quality and these have been great.

The nordic pure merv12 filter works the same as the higher priced special labeled brand. Using a filter with a merv rating of 12 or above is important. The company is so easy to work with and the product is top rate.

Cons

Filters are too small. When these get semi-dirty they hold back airflow bigtime.

These filters are cheap but they cost me quite a bit in increased gas and electric bill because of their inefficiency. It's not worth the hassle to manipulate the size of these filters via any means.

This brand obviously is not sized correctly. Go read the labels. Pay close attention to the actual size. It says 16x20x1 but it is too small and when the ac turns on it falls towards the ac causing a huge gap.

I think its a good filter and reasonably priced

Before i'd always delay replacing the existing filters as the ones in the stores cost so much money.

Plus, i am going to save lots of money from now on.

Tired of looking, i found these here at amazon and saved myself a two hour round trip to town.

I ordered 16x20x1 but amazon delivered 20x25x1.

Free shipping right to my door doesn't hurt either!

Packaging/appearance

The 6 filters came well packed in a sturdy box.

Came in a nice box, and easy to store.

Whether the package has the special allergy labeling both filters are merv12 and work the same.

The filters in the box had no identifying markings regarding merv info.

Competitiveness

Quality, price is better than local stores.

My opinion is that the nordic pure merv12 filter work the same as the higher priced special labeled brand.

I know i've tried and couldn't find a better deal anywhere.

These have a higher merv rating than the more expensive filters i used previously and are made in the usa.
