The filters are of high quality and a great deal at the price. Yes, they are more expensive than the cheaper ones but then, one gets what one pays for. Anyone looking for a more cost effective alternative check these out.

Cons

While they are sold as 16x20x1 they are actually 1/2 inch smaller. It's not worth the hassle to manipulate the size of these filters via any means.

This brand obviously is not sized correctly. Doesn't fit properly. They are physically smaller so it fits loose in the frame.

All and all using the nordic pure 16 x 20 as a prefilter has made it more conformable in the house.

These have a higher merv rating than the more expensive filters i used previously and are made in the usa.

Running cheap 16x20 filters alone i'd have to swap them every couple of weeks.
