Pros

Nordic pure filters coupled with air oasis air sanitizers keeps my home healthy. In this way, our hvac system works optimally. Since i have a cat it's essential to use a good filter for the system and this one always performs well.

These are very sturdy filters, there is no flex to the filters. They are slightly under sized and state as much; but i overlooked it. Wish they were marked, but beggars can't be choosers and we're certainly beggars.

Merv 14 filters have a high loft white media with an eggshell colored frame. Made in america, less expensive than many brands. Merv i find these filters perfect.

Cons

Product sizing is not accurate! Not impressed. It is at least ½ short in width and length. The short dimensions mean that these don't have a snug fit in your a/c+heater vents.

It's possible to pry the metal tabs up in the vent housing or shove some paper to force fit but why bother? Filter is too small like others have stated. Normal 16 x 24 x 1 filters are all about 1/4 inch smaller than printed measurements.

Quality

I bought these air filters based on existing good reviews, and the product didn't disappoint!

Pleased with performance and quality of materials.

They are unmarked with the specs, so i'm hoping we recieved the quality described.

But other than that, which has nothing to do with the product, the filters work great.

Shipping

Shipping package is top notch, the filters are put into a very sturdy and thick cardboard box to minimize damage from shipping.

The only verification that i got the right size and filtration level (merv10) is from the sticker that is on the top of the shipping box.

Packaging/appearance

I guess this is a way to save on marketing/retail packaging costs, which is cheaper for us consumers.

The filters are not wrapped in any plastic packaging, nor is there any labelling on the filters.

I ended up cutting a few inches out of the packaging box they came in to create a wedge.

Competitiveness

I was having a hard time finding 16x24 filters so i ordered these and they fit very well.

Made in america, less expensive than many brands.

A standard 16x24 filter is actually 1/4in smaller overall.
