I learned the hard way that 16x24x4 does not state dimensions but rather a class of filter.

Installed this instead of the standard 1" filter.

The number of pleats and the merv rating match or exceed the original filter installed in the unit at half the cost.

Nordic pure are a little on the pricey side but they work really well and i would say they are worth the price.

I am very glad to have found this and the price was reasonable compared to other 4" filters i saw.
