Pros

Filters arrive in their own box. I have a dog that sheds a lot, so i find that i must replace this filter about every 6 weeks or so. It is nice to have a box of spares.
Cons
Filter comes out all bowed out in the middle. Filters are not individually rapped. There were less pleats, less depth and more paper support structure blocking airflow.
Will not purchase again. Now i have to find another manufacturer who doesn't mess with their product continually by cheapening it and making the c suite people richer.
There are no markings anywhere to indicate they are merv 10 filters. Nothing to indicate brand or the merv rating.
The cardboard frame is so flimsy and insubstantial that it folded when i pushed it into the slot.

Good quality filter at a good price.
Excellent product more efficient & a sturdy product
I also made a comparison with the aerostar merv 8 and i discovered that dimensionally they are identical.
The new frames just give the filters a cheaper feel but the reduced pleats would obviously mean reduced filtration quality.
Shipping
Shipping speed and service was excellent as well.
Competitiveness
Best air filters on the market and the value for money is excellent compared to the competition.
A good, basic filter that won’t excessively restrict flow and in a multipack so i do change it out once a month.

My furnace installer said not to use higher then a merv 8 so your furnace doesn’t break down from the strain that a higher merv filter would cause

It wasnt easy finding the proper merv rating filter for our new two stage bryant acfurnace recommended merv 6 to 7

With covid and wildfire smoke like so many i thought installing a filter with a higher merv rating merv 111085 filter was the way to go

However i learned that although the higher rated merv filters are better at filtering contaminants they also reduce the airflow to the acfurnace which puts a strain on the unit

This became clear each time our unit turned on the merv 11 filter would make a popping noise due to the reduced airflow and increased suction moving through the air return

As a result the furnace had to work much harder to get the air it needed to operate
