I believe the nordics that i received are merv 8 based on their filtration media

I generally use a black sharpie marker to put the installed date on the side so i know when it was installed and when i should look at changing it out

After consulting with out hvac manufacturer not service dealer we learned that residential home hvac units should have filters with a merv rating of 810 max
