Cons

Two weeks after installing this filter, my furnace (two-year old, so almost new) started to throw overheating / air flow error codes. Running an air purifier in the same room quickly brought the aqi down near zero. I'm not sure they are merv 8.

It's crazy how much junk is caught in the filter in just one month

Moved into my own house in august, used the cheapest possible filter to get a baseline.

At this price it can't be beat!

Good value for a merve rated filter.

Now at $50 i can't help but feel that the company is taking advantage of greedflation to increase profits.

I remember when these were closer to $36 per 3-pack.

They arrived quickly and were packaged well.

I love that i can put them on subscribe and they come on time so i do not have to remember.

Packaging/appearance

It's the second time i receive a smashed box which in turn damages the filters inside.

I was worried that it would not be labeled clearly, but it was and well packaged and seems to be well made.

I hope the activated carbon is effective as intended to be used in my roof top packaged ac unit.

These filters have a higher merv rating than the 3m brand and yet they cost about half as much.

First, the merv 13 then down to merv 12 when i decided my furnace blower was working a bit too hard.
