Pros

It is amazing how much sawdust this things pulls out of the air. I get 3 or 4 reuses on each and so it works out to be pretty economical.

Cons

Very poor quality and an example of corporate quality cutting to make a buck. Would not buy again. Won't be purchasing again. Makes me think amazon doesn't actually find out if product is good before endorsing.

The filter media looks way too thin to be merv 14. None are individually wrapped/labeled with the purported merv rating or nordic logo. There is nothing (including branding) indicated on the filters themselves.

The frame of the filter is about 1/4 smaller all around than all the other brands i've used in 20x20x1 configuration. Not good, filter too small for 20x40 furnace opening.

This means your hvac does not get a proper seal, which means that unfiltered air 'pours' around all sides of the filter, greatly decreasing its efficacy. Pulled out the filter and it was completely caved in. Maybe this is because due to covid there is... Read More

The primary design flaw with these filters is that they run below spec. Utterly despicable since these products (air filters, masks) are needed for public health and safety. If you have allergies, or just want cleaner air do not buy.

Before i'd always delay replacing the existing filters as the ones in the stores cost so much money.

I would compare the quality on par with any of the name-brand.
