Pros

My basic method is pour a 1/4 cup of seeds into the bottom, put the lid on (loosely), set the microwave for 2 minutes 30 seconds.

It's a fast easy way to make popcorn without adding any oil or anything to it before popping and it's reusable which i like. Easy to use and better than bagged popcorn. Just heed their warning of initially notadding oil and salt to the unpopped corn.

Cons

Not pictured is all the unpopped kernels. I love and trust nordicware but this item did not perform. Does not pop all corn. Tried 2 times on other settings/times and nothing worked right.

Is this thing a practical joke? Don't buy it. Just use a brown paper bag for your microwave popcorn needs. Will definitely be returning.

The lid is too thin and sits uneasily on the bowl. The bowl and lid are discolored now, even after washing. This is an image of the pitting and dye that came off after two uses.

I would pay even more for this product.

It's pricey - but we use both pieces of the set to microwave cook other foods daily, as well.
