Pros
It's perfect for storing and serving. A cake holder/case is just a container to keep the cake presentable and clean.
Cons
There is frayed plastic around the rim of the cake plate. I cannot fit a cake on a plate into the bottom tray and be able to close the dome over it.

We made sure to order exactly the same thing because of the quality.
I'm a little disappointed in the locking feature.

I definitely wouldn’t carry the holder by the handle with a cake in it it’s just to loose

I did a little hack to help with this looseness problem by trimming some credit card material and hot glued to the slots on the plate part

Since the card stock was glued on the bottom it won’t be seen

Nope the locking on it is not sturdy enough for that
