Pros & Cons
Pros
This ceramic cannister has a filter under the lid. All the scraps from this little composter into them. It holds lots of food scraps by the kitchen sink with no odors at all.
Cons
Not recommended. Absolutely pointless. The seller makes you pay for return shipping because their product is faulty.
The ceramic handle pops off easily and is hard to clean. The stainless handle also needs to be bent better, it's much too loose. The bowl was infested with unspeakable quantity of maggots.
Highlights
Quality
My husband dropped and broke our compost jar & i was absolutely thrilled to find one almost identical almost 20 years later!
This one is functional and looks great on the countertop!
2 gallon that fit nicely and when full still gives room to twist and tie off for disposal.
The only setback is that it does not have an inner bucket
Packaging/appearance
Even though it came with a filter i purchased a 2 pack of replacement so i would have them on hand for when it needs to be changed.
