Pros
It's a good loud long ring you can't ignore. It helps with the part of my brain that forgets something is on the stove, hose running, etc.
Cons
The cord hangs down 18 inches, and i've tied a knot to shorten it. It was supposed to be battery included, but shipped without a battery. As soon as you jiggle it after setting it, it loses its mind.

I did tie a knot in the string to shorten it because i am short and everytime i leaned up against the counter it would squeeze the buttons

This is the 3rd timer ive bought not because it died a premature death but because through my almost constant use of it hanging from my neck it was easy to somehow loosen the battery cover and lose both cover and battery

I simply taped the battery cover shut with some duck tape

The lanyard is very long and there is a magnet on the back that sticks to the refrigerator door or maybe vent hood
