Pros & Cons
Pros
Works great. It takes a bit to get used to turning the batter so be prepared to lose a few on trial & error. I'm impatient, however, and not that picky, so i used wood glue and it's holding up.
Good, sturdy black iron skillet with wooden handle. Construction is sturdy and thoughtful. Skirt makes for even heating.
Highlights
Quality
The pan itself is great quality and easy to use.
This pan is excellent for making proper aebleskiver / takoyaki.
You have to season it in order for it to cook evenly and not stick to the pan.
These patches filled in later after we cooked with it the first time.
Price
I found it on amazon at a very reasonable price and decided to give it a try.
Shipping
Also, the first parcel got lost but the manufacturer sent a replacement immediately, thank you for the great customer service!
Packaging/appearance
Came with a severely damaged box and no recipe or instructions for seasoning.
My only complaint is the packaging, as the wooden handle was underneath the cast iron's weight when delivered.
