Pros
The slicer works wonderfully, looks handsome and cleans up easily. It easily slides and doubles as a server if you wish.
There were 2 spare wire cutters taped under the stone. It is the best cheese slicer that has ever been invented. Every house needs one of these cheese cutters.
Price is what attracted me as well as the look. Can't find it any other place. Very pleased. Absolutely love these.
Cons
Don't try this with a firm cheese like jarlsberg. The handle was misshaped. The wires require a certain knot to attach to the handle. The hole through which the lever arm hinges is about 1/8 inch too big.
The upside is that i had no problem returning it for a refund. Very disappointing. A refund was applied to my credit card.
Have low expectations. It really is junk. Going to the garbage.

Weve had several of them over the years but if either of us were able to easily replace the wire when it breaks we probably could have gotten away with just one

Instead whenever it breaks we make an attempt to fix the wire do a terrible job and eventually give up and just buy a new one

The wire handle have too much play in them to get the same size slices everytime
