Pros & Cons
Pros
This silicone pad is the only one to have. Great for arthritic hands, cfs/fibromyalgia weakness, or just stubborn lids. Takes up no space in a kitchen drawer, unlike those bulky mechanical twist-tops.
May this one last as long as its predecessor! Srsly, amen. This makes it doable.
It works fabulously! Works like a dream. I have psoriatic arthritis in my hands and this does help. It is very economical.
Cons
The two i received are white (not clear as i assumed from picture) very thin and flimsy and have a horrible chemical odor. Did not open a jar. Product is plastic and not recyclable. Not what it appears.
Highlights
Quality
They are sturdy and get the job done.
Item seems to be well constructed and provides a good grip.
I had, what i affectionately call, a rubber husband, which finally fell apart.
I have had other rubber jar grippers in the past but they could never get as firm a grip on a jar lid as this one does!
Price
It's not cheap, won't rip or tear its thick works great
This does the small ones and the big ones perfectlyvalue for the money
Packaging/appearance
They come 2 to a package and definitely do the trick when you don’t have somebody with strong hands around to help you.
Competitiveness
Don’t waste your money on the other multi-packs of various colors by other companies.
