It is heavyduty the top part held 4 gallon bags of currants and the bottom held 8 quarts of water

We thought that it was secure until we started draining the liquid and when we were in the middle of draining it the rubber tube came off and we had boiling liquid pouring out at us

There was juice going everywhere when we had to jump back

The only con is that it does keep about one quart of juice in the pot and you have to tip it to get it out

Would have given 5 stars except as others have pointed out the juice collector does not set easily on the steamer bottom
