Pros

This one is sturdy, well made, and priced reasonably. Great quality and size.

Although not stellar qc it is better than many. The metal is very high quality and the strainer seems to be well-built and durable.

It fits nicely on top of my 4 cup pyrex glass liquid measuring cup. There are no sharpe edges or parts bent when the item was taken out of the box. I have 2 cats + a dog + they all have double coat fur.

Cons

Great pot but terrible strainer. The handle is spot welded to the body.

This strainer is very well made and totally pro!

The mesh is joined to stainless rim in such a way that a crevice is formed between the mesh and the inner edge of the rim.

It doesn't hug the bowl to keep it from slipping.

Price

For the money, this is a great strainer.

Com at a very resonable price, i ordered the 8 inch strainer.

The strainer arrived promptly and it is exactly as advertised.

It came in a very timely manner and i am very happy to report that i now have a rust-free strainer that meets all my needs.

Packaging/appearance

Added bonus: i like the way it lookd hanging next to my other impliments.

The only problem is that it arrived a little crushed, but quite usable.

Competitiveness

Although not stellar qc it is better than many, and the functional aspects of this tool are promising.

My other, larger strainer of a different brand does not have this problem.

Similar strainers are offered on-line by well-known merchandizers for twice the price.
