Disapointed in this product. It goes up and down smoothly but won't chop anything. Blades bend and get clogged to easy.

I am not satisfied with this chopper.
I cut russets in half then with the cut side down, cut the potato into 3-4 inch long, 3/8 wide fries.

Overall i have been happy with my other norpro products so will wait to see how this pans out.

Although the printing on the box states it would slice cucumbers and zucchini nothing is mentioned in the printed instructions about slicing

Moreover a slicing blade in my book would be several parallel blades to cut in one plane without cross or perpindicular blades that would cut in two planeswhich was not in the box nor shown in the picture on the box so i think the representation that the devise slices is misleading

It does telescope with downward pressure but does not telescope up to accommodate anything over 3 and ahalf to four inches
