It works like a charm. It washes off easy. It also muffles the noise. It is the best gadget you didn't know you needed!

Cons

Sink/disposal combination is just not suited to this specific item. The width is now too small to span the width of the drain so it just flops to one side. It is rather loose fitting, and also does not'seat' itself evenly into the inlet.
