Sometimes i have to turn it off towards the bottom of my mug

I give 4 stars on warmth and temperature control only because it doesnt work as well with all mugs

As with all mug warmers you should use a mug with a relatively flat bottom that isnt too thick although i think youll find this unit gets hotter than most as it pushes out 24 volts

This doesnt keep it scorching hot but its perfectly drinkably hot and not warm

The entire thing gets very hot

If you have a small amount of coffee in the cup turn off the unit so it wont get so hot it burns your mouth

Also do not touch or try to move the device because the entire unit gets very hot and could burn your fingers
