Pros

It is sturdy enough to firmly hold a good size chicken and cleans up nicely. Clean up couldn't be easier with the stainless bars popping right off.

First time grilling a whole chicken. I even overcooked one chicken but cleanup was fine --- the roaster still looks like new.

This catches all the juices/fat so no grease fires or much grill cleanup. Catches all the fat drippings as the chicken cooks. Works well for cornish hens as well.

My chicken was done and had a nice crispy skin. Back, thighs and legs have an even chance of coming to the proper internal temp along with the breast. Tender moist meat, cripsy skin, and tastes great. Very moist and tender.

Cons

This is ok for roasting but snapping in the wire frame is difficult and takes strength. Furthermore disassembling it for cleaning is equally hard and the pan is small.

In contrast to other roasters i have tried, this one works fine.

This was a far better roast chicken than any i have purchased in any store.

I have not tried using it for a turkey; i returned another brand that was less expensive but totally useless.

I've tried roasting on a rack in the oven but it wasn't as good as the rotisserie then i tried this vertical roaster.
