I have had problems with similar olivepickle grabbers exploding when the item being grabbed slips out and the spring tension causes the crimped retaining ring to fail

The grabber part then flys across the room and it is impossible to reassemble

Unfortunately i dont know the brands of the ones that have exploded due to failure of the crimp
