Pros

It boils almost instantly, pours easily without sputtering, and wipes dry in an instant. It pours very well and has a lower, wider profile which covers the burner better. Perfect size and the spout is super convenient for pouring hot liquids without s...  Read More

For general cooking it is not a disadvantage. This pot is well made and the perfect size for cooking veggies, heating soup, or boiling eggs. This is the best set of pots i have had in forty-two years of marriage.

It heats excellently, the milk doesn't stick to the bottom, there are no rivets on the inside of the pan (for the handle) and it has a pour spout on both sides making it extremely easy to pour the milk into the yogurt maker container without all the s...  Read More

It would be used for cooking sauces, vegetables, reheating food, canned soup. The smaller is good for simmering and straining herb tea; the larger for vegetables or pasta.

This pan is great. This makes things so easy. Love the see-through lid. Absolutely love it.

Quality

It heats real fast, and the straining lid and the pour spouts on either side of the pan is a great idea.

This pot is well made and the perfect size for cooking veggies, heating soup, or boiling eggs.

Same goes for making pastry cream; the heating is not even, so you'll have clumps before the custard is ready, even with constant whisking.

It also is made of stainless steel so it doesn't have all the chemicals that teflon pans (which can cause cancer)do.

Price

Bought it because it was the highest rated with a great price!

I've had this saucepan for about 8 years; bought at a local kitchen store for $20.

Shipping

What i liked least was the method of delivery.

Packaging/appearance

(and had ruined at least one glass teapot that way already) i have 3 other krona pots that i love, so when i saw this small one...  Read More

The box was shattered and the pan was taped to bubble wrap.

The package was completely destroyed, very lucky the manufacturer secured its product in bubble wrap.
