I made brownie mix from scratch and had no issues with the sticks staying put.

It would have been nice to get more recipes with the pan or, at least, a conversion chart to modify cookie and cake recipes.

This pan has some weight to it and has a very nice coating.

Just make sure the cake is set or the sticks will break right through the cake.

Once cooked, i inserted the sticks with wet melted chocolate on the ends.
