Pros & Cons
Pros
Small and sturdy. Solid stainless steel. Good value. Good little nutmeg grader.

Competitiveness

I clean my norpro nutmeg grater with a dry (clean, never mouth used) toothbrush.

It used to be that a very sharp little blade was packed in every bottle of whole nutmeg
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Had i known that that was no longer the case i would never have loaned out my blade

I do not store a partially grated or any other nut in the backspace behind the blade

I simply prefer to have the spice sealed in a glass jar

Go easy on gratings for your white sauce as there is no comparison to the dry pregrated stuff

Very seldom do i have buildup of gratings or resin to warrant a scrubbing with water
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
So if you wet scrub then be sure to rinse and allow to air dry thoroughly
