Pros

Beautifully marbled as pictured. Extremely sturdy and heavy. Works fine, and handsomely wrought.

Great price and quality. Meets expectation. Surprised it didn't break during shipping.

Fits in palm of hand. It fights well in my large hands.

It is a bit small but i only use it for grinding spices. Works great for mashing rosemary, thyme, peppercorn, etc. Perfect for grinding pills and supplements.


Cons

Too coarse a grind to work with pills. Thin transparent film is getting peeled off from the mortar after several use.

    In the attached photo is 2 tbs of seeds which worked ok but 1 tbs at a time would be better
