The cups have sort of an unusual shape that is oblong. The narrow scoop shape makes it easy to dip into a container of flour.

This ia a great set. The free 3 day shipping is terrific.
These certainly fit the bill in the 'durability' department. They clean up nicely. Also, they have a nice heft to them.
I bake quite a bit and was sick of my old plastic measuring cups whose measurements had rubbed away. They make my baking much easier. The 1 cup size can be used as a small pan right on the stove to heat a small amount of special sauces.
Cons
Amazon's order information tells me the name of the seller, but the seller says they were bought through amazon direct. This gives a weight of 0 grams. These measuring cups are ok if you don't need better than 8 percent accuracy.
