Pros
The d rings (vice eyelets) permits me to get a wider opening when loosening the laces. Got these boots for my 30 yr old nephew for christmas.
Very good traction in the snow & ice. Good purchase for a reasonable cost. I hope other shoppers find my observations useful in their purchasing decisions.
These boots are very warm and keep the moisture out. Soles are comfortable enough but feel free to use your favorite innersole inserts for extra comfort and support. These boots were delivered yesterday on a sunny, warm day.
Cons
One month old and the ankle is split. Insoles are not smooth or even. The right shoe has a ridge by the heel and no padding.

A few years ago i paid 100 for a pair of sorel snow boots which started falling apart two years later

Especially when there are conflicting reviews where buyers claim the same snow boots fit is either too big or too small
