I fully expected these boots to “ fail” their inaugural hike and need to be returned.
Many of my previous hikers fell apart as a result of sole adhesives letting go.

For the price you can’t beat these.
Gotta admit, the price was attractive too.
I would pay $120 for these boots.

They came the next day and included an extra set of laces, which is a nice touch.
I was in new mexico for 7 days and looks these to hike and climb difficult terrain.
Competitiveness
Over the years i’ve worn out many different brands of hiking boots, some, of course, better than others.
Decent support, good traction, no leaks, and overall better than some much bigger name brands i've spent more on.
I have tried other much more expensive brands but have never found a pair that fit like these.
You can buy 3 pair of these, or one pair of the "other brand".

Temperature at the summit and crater dropped to 35°f it was indeed comfortable

Unfortunately the shoelaces are what broke first that’s an easy fix always have a back up when on a trip
