Pros
Fit is good with boot sox on, toe box nice and roomy. Decent boot, a little snug, but livable. Just something to consider when ordering. Will be ordering again.
The 12 i bought with an added insole seems to remedy the issue. The soles are a bit stiff right now since i got them yesterday but, that'll change after wearing them some.
Cons
The boots are extremely non-breathable, which i would expect from the waterproof listing - however, they are absolutely not waterproof. The glue starts to wear off at the bottom by the sole near the front. The quality of these is extremely poor.
A big disappointment. My biggest complaint is more about amazon lying about advertising delivery dates. Now i find out their customer service is pathetic.

These are well made, sturdy with a good sole and toe.
These boots are well made and a great fit.
I fully expected these boots to “ fail” their inaugural hike and need to be returned.
Many of my previous hikers fell apart as a result of sole adhesives letting go.
Price
Priced good and worked perfectly for what i needed.
Gotta admit, the price was attractive too.
I would pay $120 for these boots.
Plus they are less than half price!
Shipping
They came the next day and included an extra set of laces, which is a nice touch.
Competitiveness
Over the years i’ve worn out many different brands of hiking boots, some, of course, better than others.
Decent support, good traction, no leaks, and overall better than some much bigger name brands i've spent more on.
You can buy 3 pair of these, or one pair of the "other brand".
Literally half to a third less than my favorite brand.

I often go hiking in my local area and many times the terrain is wet and rough and i needed a pair of hiking boots so i didnt mess up my running shoes

They lace up tight keeping water and dirt out from above and are only ankle high so i dont need long socks

Wish there was arch support but i might be able to add that my feet are flat and that might be beneficial for a long hike

Out of the box the nortiv 8 hiking boots fit better than i had hoped

My latest light hikers mont belle would still be in use now except that after so many years of hard abuse they kinda fell apart and i didn’t feel right filing a warranty claim
