Pros

Nortive 8 is my new favorit brand of hiking boot excellent. If you're looking for a reliable pair of hiking boots that won't disappoint you, these are worth considering.

The manufacturing/assembly looks great out of the box. The seams are clean and the stitching is perfect. They do have some characteristics to be aware of.

They fit nicely and don't have any pinch points that might turn to hot spots. The sizing is spot on, so go with your true size.

They are comfortable, lightweight and display great craftsmanship. The padding is very generous. The padded collar is very comfortable and hardware is top notch.

Cons

These are too heavy to comfortably walk. As you can see in second picture the heel grip loop rip as soon as i tried them on. But, for gifting or anything important they are not worth it.

Material and construction seem top notch and im not worried at all about these falling apart anytime soon.

So even with the one caveat i think these represent a good value and for that i'm giving them a 5 out of 5 stars!

Or pay big bucks and have big expectations.

Bottom line:great boots at a very fair price.

Just received and haven’t worn on hiking trail yet.

Value wise, they are great given that they cost less than half some other brands.

Just as good as the manoa boots from nike and any timbs we have bought.

Nortiv appears to have two different versions of the “nortiv 8” hiker, either that or they are changing styles.
