Nortiv 8 hiking shoes offer a good value for their ruggedness, comfort, and leave some extra room for thicker socks. The sole is very sturdy. No fatigue whatsoever after switching from running shoes to these hiking shoes.

Cons

The tongue is way too short, therefore, when laced into the top eyelets, the shoestring digs into your ankle. After just a month the inside of one of the shoes has a hard ridge that is giving blisters on the little toe! All the other shoes lasted mont... Read More

It is stiff, un-flexing, and has more pressure points than a judo master. Adding more padding only causes the shoe to fit too tight.
