The rubber sole's tread offers excellent traction on various terrains. The eva insole delivers on its promise of cushioning and shock absorption. The outsole has a rugged pattern which is great for more rough terrain.
We are hopeful these will last him as many years as the previous brand did. They seem pretty durable so they should hold up for several years. Very satisfied with purchase.
Cons
Three rubber tread lugs are placed right behind toe. The so called ankle strap is purely aesthetic since it just goes over a solid ankle piece that doesn't actually flex. The heel pivots right at one of the side openings.
