Pros
The soles are thick and cushioned. The cushion around the ankle is thick enough. The fit is tight but comfortable. Thecushion is nice.
Laces are a pet peeve of mine. Even though they lace i keep them loose enough to function as slip on shoes and they still fit snug on the foot. The only down side is that these felt very uncomfortable with no show or low cut socks.

Sturdy, thick, cushioned soles give great comfort and support.
They are so sturdy and well made i expect them to last a very long time, even when used over rough terrain.
I've only worn these shoes for 3 days and they are already broken in.
These shoes can also be tied like regular shoes so you can't slip them on or off if you want a really secure fit.
Price
As i said above, a solid choice at a very reasonable price.
At this price i really have no complaints just the fyi's i gave for you to consider.
Competitiveness
I find these comparable to many of the middle-brand named shoes i tend to buy for myself.

I love the laces i know that sounds funny but one of my pet peeves are laces that ravel or are too short or long

With socks or without socks they slide on easy

Many slip on shoes have no laces but just elastic so you cant customize the fit
