The 550 paracord boots are roomy for socks and are 100% waterproof. After wearing them in more than ankle deep snow for a while and such, haven't had an issue with wet feet at all.
Cons
These boots do not come with the cushion removable insole as stated in the listing description. These are glued into the bottom and are not removable in anyway. No matter how one laces up the boot, it still cuts right into the outside of one’s ankle. ... Read More

The postal approved and provided uniform boots he gets each year are expensive and eat up more than half his allotted uniform allowance taking away from buying replacement pantsshirts that get worn out with torn pockets easily
