These boots are well insulated and have a well cushioned/insulated sides and sole. An extra shoelace is included; a nice touch.

Quality
The polyurethane uppers are care free with no worries about cracking or stiffening after being wet.
They are well insulated and he can feel that they will keep his feet plenty warm.
They tongue is gusseted, fastened high to both sides, so water and slush can’t get past.
The outer sole is aggressively lugged for good traction and there are two speed laces at the top for easier lacing.
Price
But i have to say that, as of today, these are quite a good value.
Especially any this nice at a good price.
I wanted something comfortable and waterproof for walking my dog in the winter, but expected to pay twice this much.

There was no squeezing of the width and my toes have more sidetoside wiggle room than many shoes and boots

Oftentimes i use separate added innersoles to increase the arch support or the overall comfort but i didn’t find it necessary here

I might prefer a bit more arch support than they offer on a long hike but that’s not unusual for me
