The coffee color is attractive, though it leans more toward a dark taupe color. The sizing is accurate, the construction is sturdy, and they are incredibly comfortable. The tongue and collar are padded.

The boots are tall enough to provide stability while still allowing for easy ankle movement. The deep treads on the soles offer excellent traction on slippery surfaces. They are the perfect balance of rugged but not super bulky.

The only downside is that they lack any fabric panels that allow for the foot to breathe. They are surprisingly comfortable and fit nice and snug so there is no rubbing on my ankles. How huge these shoes make my feet look. It makes me giggle.

These are advertised as leather. The smell is not that of leather but of pu and it is pu smelling. They run small.
