Love them as much as my $185 hikers.
Found these, they were $60, then price went down to $32 so decided to try.
Shopped around for well known brands and prices were over $100 which is more that i wanted to spend.
Packaging/appearance
They came home covered with red dust and one cycle in the washing machine (and air dried) and they look good as new!
One less pair of shoes to pack.
Competitiveness
Way better than my expensive brand shoes!
I picked them over several name brand waterproof shoes and think they were better.
Overall, if you want to do minimal hiking or strolling, go fo it otherwise aim for more expensive brand.

Based on other reviews saying they ran a little big i decided to stick with an 8 12 half size up from my normal nonathletic shoe size 8
